Adaptive Action Sports (AAS) is a husband and wife founded non-profit that runs with the help of long-time friends and a family of professional athletes.
AAS gets physically disabled individuals into action sports such as skateboarding and snowboarding. AAS is continually pushing it's limits within the disability space and helping individuals break down their own personal boundaries. AAS is also an elite level training sports club for Paralympic snowboarders, putting two US Para-snowboarders on the podium at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Evan Strong - Gold Medal and AAS Co-Founder Amy Purdy - Bronze.
This video highlights two individuals who are skateboarding for the first time at an AAS skate clinic held at the No Barriers Summit in 2016. Among the many volunteers are Paralympian's Evan Strong, Amy Purdy & Keith Gabel
This video was created to thank Adaptive Action Sports' biggest sponsor, Toyota. Without the help of Toyota, AAS would not be able to put on clinics such as this one. Thank you Toyota! Let's Go Places
